CANVAS I use acrylic paints, painting over a red painted background. Paintings are on gallery wrapped canvas, 1.5 inches high, stapled on the back. The edges are painted with an accent color or the image wraps around the sides. No frame is needed and pictures are ready to hang with a glossy varnish.
If you wish to frame your painting, you can request a standard height canvas, which is 3/4 inch high, tell me BEFORE I do the painting.

THE PROCESS Email me a photo or several photos of your dog. High resolution is best, it can be difficult to impossible to work with a low res photo, especially when the dog is only a fraction of the total photo space. If you cannot email files, then mail me a CD or photo prints (many prints tend to be blacker than the digital file).

1. I crop the images for the strongest composition, either rectangle or square format, email that for approval and finalize on size.
2. Invoice is sent
3. I will email a photo of the painting for approval, and do any changes you may request.
4. Ship out the painting. Turn around time is usually a week, but will depend on prior commitments.
PAYMENT Half up front, half on completion, or all up front. Payment can be through PayPal or mailing a money order or check.

TO ORDER Email me, tell me what you are interested in, or if you would like my suggestions on a size. You can include photo(s), and include your zip code (for postage calculations), I will email you an invoice through PayPal.

POSTAGESizes up to 11x14 are $8, larger canvases actual postage plus a small handling fee to cover packing supplies if needed. Insurance optional. Ships Priority Mail from Denver.
ADDITIONAL SUBJECTS Add 25% per subject or write for more than 2. I will not consider small canvases with multiple dogs, the detail becomes too small.
